Post Secret: Once I kissed a boy and I thought I was pregnant.

Lights come up on BOY and GIRL in BOY'S bedroom watching a movie. They are watching the movie for a little while, when BOY leans back and yawns, casually putting his arm around GIRL'S shoulder. GIRL'S first reaction is slight panic, then she nervously leans her head on BOY. They continue to watch the movie for a little while, when BOY takes and holds GIRL'S hand, she is apprehensive at first, but holds his hand. They watch the movie a awhile longer when BOY kisses the top of GIRL'S head. GIRL'S reaction is fear, and her face turns ghostly white. BOY waits a few moments and puts his fingers underneath GIRL'S chin and tilts her face upward. BOY starts to go in to kiss GIRL, when he s just three inches from her face GIRL stops him

GIRL
wait.

BOY
yeah?

GIRL
I'm not so sure about this.

BOY
what do you mean?

GIRL
well do you have any protection?

BOY
protection?

GIRL
well yeah.

BOY
Protection for what, its a kiss.

GIRL
Exactly.

BOY
what does that mean, I don't get it.

GIRL
Well, I don't know about you, but I certainly do not want to have a baby.

BOY
It's just a kiss! You worry too much.

BOY kisses GIRL. GIRL kisses him back at first then pulls away alarmed

BOY
what is it?

GIRL
I'm going to get pregnant! That what.

BOY
Its just a kiss, for the love of god!

GIRL
I'm not even on the pill, my mom will kill me if I get pregnant. [pause] Do you have anything I should know about?

BOY
like what?

GIRL
I don't know.

BOY
Yes you do.

GIRL
Well, like an STD.

BOY
An STD? we haven't even done anything.

GIRL
We just kissed!

BOY
the chances of getting a STD from a kiss are very slim, especially since I don't have any. And the chances of getting pregnant from a kiss are none.

GIRL
Well obviously you just don't know. I guess you dad never had the talk with you.

lights fade

Lights come up on GIRL in her bathroom with a used pregnancy test on the sink, she sits on the toilet with the over down, bouncing her feet up and down on the floor, getting up every half a minute to look at the test. She gets the last time and hold it in her hands.

GIRL
Oh thank god.

GIRL takes her cellphone out of her pocket and calls BOY

GIRL
Hey Trevor? Yeah. You have nothing to worry about, I just took the test, its negative.

BOY
[really loudly]
OH MY GOD! I KNOW!

[BOY hangs up and there is a dial tone. GIRL hangs up and shrugs her shoulders, she breathes a sigh of relief. Lights fade.
